This week we covered Non-essential amino acids, which means amino acids that are manufactured in the body. That being said, unless your body is working at optimal levels, you will have trouble producing the amino acids you need. That is why we (Dr. B and myself) recommend that you use a high quality whey protein powder to ensure that you get all the amino acids you need to maintain health.
