Ron Aaron Eisenberg
Ron Aaron may be the ultimate Renaissance man. An educator, writer, radio talk show host, media & PR specialist, award winning film producer, and more.
Ron currently co-hosts three weekly one-hour radio shows for WellMed - WellMed Radio on health and wellness for seniors; Caregiver SOS on Air providing useful information and support for caregivers and their families; and Aging Well, for seniors and their families living in Florida.
He has spent more than thirty-five years in communications, PR, marketing, advertising, and fund raising. Many folks know him as a top rated radio talk show host and that's what brought him to San Antonio in 1991. Since then he's served as executive director of The Rape Crisis Center – the first male in America to direct a rape crisis center. And he was executive director of Jewish Family & Children's Service and later The Animal Defense League. His work helping victims of violence made him a recognized expert in the field.
He currently serves as a PR & Media consultant to WellMed Medical Management, the WellMed Charitable Foundation, and the Rapier Family Trust. He is also an Adjunct Professor in Political Science at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) where he has taught for more than 10 years.
Ron earned his BA degree from Case/Western Reserve University, a Master's Degree in Communications from The Ohio State University, and his Juris Doctor (J.D.), with honors, from the George Washington University National Law Center. He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar Association (inactive) and The Order of the Coif, the national legal honorary society.
Some things you may not know about Ron: He has written and produced several award winning films for children, teens and parents on sexual assault; eating disorders; teen dating violence and more. And he was honored with the Dallas Press Club's Katie Award for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism in 1996.
Ron is also a self-confessed bulbaholic; he struggles with an irresistible desire to plant bulbs and flowers. And he is an amateur photographer who loves taking pictures of dogs, cats, and children (not necessarily in that order).
He and his wife, Gina Galaviz Eisenberg, live in San Antonio, Texas with their dog Lola and three cats - Homer, Scrappy & Pee Wee. They are raising their infant granddaughter, Reagan.
